Seed from our Dahlia Karma Choc

Seed from our Dahlia Karma Choc.  We grew dahlias from the Karma Choc Dahlia's this season and we were delighted with the assortment of dark colored dahlias.  Each one is unique and not all are dark maroon with dark foliage.  Of the 125 plants that we grew from seed approx 25% were dark maroon flowered, some with green foliage, some dark.  The rest were various shades of magenta, pink and red.... all beautiful but different.  Dahlias have eight chromosomes and do not come true to the parent plant from seed so it is a wonderful experiment to see what you get.  Each one is its own new variety. Pick the ones you love the most and create your own varieties that can be multiplied by dividing the tubers each season.  Fun!  24 seeds
